A Mother And A Daughter
I captured this emotional image on top of Mont Salève, in France.
I was visiting Geneva, Switzerland, for a business trip and took the opportunity to explore Mont Salève during one of the weekends. Located near Geneva at the border between Switzerland and France, this place offers breathtaking views of the city and the lake.
After reaching the top by gondola, I was mesmerized by the stunning scenery. As I stepped out onto an open area beneath a massive concrete roof, I noticed a child running toward the edge of the space. Though there was more ground beyond the ledge, making it safe, her mother followed closely behind. The little girl sat down, gazing out at the vast cityscape and the infinite Swiss Alps, while her mother stood nearby—watchful yet allowing her the freedom to take in the moment.
From my perspective, they appeared to be standing at the very edge of the structure, with the immersive backdrop making the scene even more powerful.
So, I captured!

Love Is In The Air In Paris
On the day I landed in Paris for a business trip, I was having coffee with my colleagues near Comédie- Française when we noticed a group of people dancing in the square. Drawn by the energy of the moment, I walked over to take it all in.
As the sun set, the street lights started to glow, and they danced under the lights. I loved how they didn’t care about the crowd, just freely enjoying the moment. The music, the movement, and the way the people around them soaked in the scene made it feel like love was in the air. It was one of those simple yet unforgettable experiences during my two-week stay in Paris.

Photography 101
I was visiting Taipei in late 2024. One afternoon, while walking around Taipei 101, I saw the light shining incredibly on one side, with a perfect shadow cast on the other.
Seizing the opportunity, I captured this minimalist shot—I had never seen Taipei 101 in such a perfect view. And just look at those cotton candy clouds— even the sky was flawless. How could I possibly miss this shot?
With the perfect blend of light, shadow, composition, and timing, I named this shot 'Photography 101'—a nod to both Taipei 101 and the fundamentals of photography.

Ma Femme
Fan Ho has always been my biggest inspiration.
In late 2024, I was visiting Taipei with my wife, and we were at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The late afternoon light was shining beautifully on this monumental building, and it immediately reminded me of one of Fan Ho's photos, 'Approaching Shadow', which has always been my favorite of his works.
When I saw this opportunity—with the giant natural shadow and incredible light—despite Taipei usually being gloomy in winter, I couldn’t resist and took a portrait of my wife.
The name of this photo is in French, meaning 'my wife'.
